Ambrose did the full 8 mile pony today and did exceptional.  I saw a brief 16 mph trot before he went into a very nice lope.  His working Heart Rates are very good, it is is recovering HR that will take some time. Anytime you see the HR swinging, say going from 64 to 68 or 72 and then back down again you can bet you are dealing with a horse that has done a little more work then they were ready for.  Not the end of the world but it gives you a good idea of where to start next.

Ambrose weight today was 968.  He is a good eater, not picky at all, and I have been feeding him lots to keep his weight up while he turns his body into a finely tuned machine.  His feet are looking not too bad, takes awhile for them to grow out.  The boots have been working great for him and he will get his very own set pretty soon which we will  custom modify just for him.
